Pennsylvania allows gas-well frackwater to flow into rivers
Friday, January 7, 2011 at 12:00AM
No worries! State officials, energy companies and the operators of treatment plants insist that with the right safeguards in place, the practice poses little or no risk to the environment or to the hundreds of thousands of people who rely on those rivers for drinking water.

Well, if it had just been just one of those crooks trying to comfort me, I would have been skeptical...but since all three said it's ok, now I can sleep at night!
They must have never seen the movie Gasland!
It is crazy what politiians will allow when their pockets get lined!
i'm from PA originally and still fish there quite a bit. makes me sad. despite the fact that nothing ever seems to get done and no matter who you vote for, nothing changes (thanks to legalized bribes...thank you congress and lobbyists), i wrote to the gov. just had to get the bile out! keep posting this stuff though...we will need grass roots to get things done as the politicians never will.
It is just incredible how we continue to abuse, waste and poison the most priceless resource we have on this rock.
Thank god Im not an American.
