Sept. Slab of the Month Entry: More Bull

A couple weeks ago Matt Harrison had the chance to go up to MT/BC for some fishing. This one came somewhere along the way.

That fish doesn't even look wet. Awesome fish, hope it was returned to the water quickly.

Of course that bull looks huge, there's a friggin' leprechaun holding it! Na, nice fish!

Looks wet to me, there is water dripping. "Somewhere along the way" probably means MT which means it was illegal... nice fish though...

I think he was cuttie fishing and accidentally caught it, happened to me one or two... hundred times. Could be BC though.

BS... definitely doesn't look wet. No splashes on the shorts or rocks around there? C'mon

Not true, Daley. Check your regs.
There are three drainages in Montana that are open to fishing for Bull Trout. Depending upon where one is fishing in Montana, the season can range from being open year round for catch and release to being open for a few months.

Thanks for the heads up Mickey, I wasn't aware of that. I was misinformed by a friend, haven't been to MT yet. I still don't see rock splashes or on the shorts, but I do see a lot of white thighs and some drips from the leprachaun's hand...

That thing died. Dry as a bone. Better not try and steal his lucky charms!

I've fished the exact hole and know that it was on legal waters and there is a indentation in the rock that serves as a makeshift livewell perfect for landing and releasing fish. What a brut!

Why hasn't Nike ventured into FF? Nike Air Jordan Wading Boots anyone?
