I have fished around the entire continent, chased hundreds of species of fish, and I can say that What Jay experiences in this video is truly one of Fly fishing's greatest feats. This fish are snobs and almost impossible to catch unless they don't have a food source. While I am sympathetic to the tagic takeover of the rivers in the midwest, this is magical. Haters stop hating until you've tried it. These fish are considered a sportfish in england and toother european countries. So pull your head out.
Reelmn1x1. Just because they are trash somewhere doesn't mean they are somewhere else. I'd bet none of these skeptics have ever even attempted to land one on a fly tod

what a bunch of elitist assholes. the kind of assholes that give fly fishing a bad name. carp are a lot of fun and a hell of a lot harder to catch than trout. plus they get HUGE! and for those people saying "go fish in the sewer", you can fish for carp right here on the south platte in the denver burbs on a perfectly nice river. nothing smelly or sewer-ish about it. just a regular ol river, only not freezing. dont knock it til u try it. they even have carp tournaments here. its a blast and getting quite a following. some people have to put others down in order to feel good about their own shortcomings, trout sizes or otherwise.

Carp are one, if not the only one, of the hardest to catch fish on the planet. Probably the hardest in the milkyway and maybe even the universe. Not only hard to catch but hard to fight, hard to land, hard to approach, and selective. You fuck wads who spend your time sitting at TU meetings never setting foot on a stream all year round need to wake up and go exploring somewhere other than your "Native" brook trout stream.

Remember I"ll be shootin Jews for Jesus so watch your back.
