Stevens Catch and Release Nets
Thursday, August 12, 2010 at 12:00AM
Alan Stevens retired in 1994 after teaching math for 27 years in central Maine schools. He quickly turned his hobby, canoe making, into a business, and built what he termed 'little wooden boats'. When Alan could not find a landing net to suit his needs, he built one; a new business was soon created: Stevens Nets.

I use the 28R daily, TONS of great things to say about it, Al does a wonderful job ! Had a lot of ppl comment on it as well,
I've got one of his nets, and it is great, even if your name isn't Steve. Plus the prices are what even a poor trout fisherman can afford. great quality at half the cost of other handmade wooden nets. I'm gonna get another one.
