That was close enough for me. Got it to the boat, got a good look, had a good time. Easy release, and easier on the fish than tiring it to the point of holding it in your hand. Fish survives, count it--well done. Oh, and great video to remember it by.
I about crapped myself when his reel came off! And when the fish ate and his line was wrapped around his upper body and head. That's tarpon fishing man - the last one I got took me 3 days and about 200 hundred casts. But man, it was worth it.
