Whoppa!

With GPS capability to pinpoint your location on googlemaps and automatic date and time entries, it's never been simpler to log a catch. You can add as much detail as you like with options such as techniques, equipment, species, weight and length, fly type, hook size, season, weather, water type and water body... you can even add a picture. All the information is then automatically stored on your phone with the added option of being able to upload it to your account on the Whoppa website for safe-keeping. Find out more at Whoppa

This is easily the most pointless bullshit ever seen in the whole wide world of pointless bullshit in the fishing industry today. But when nobody wants to pay $800 for sticks of graphite anymore you have to do something desperate and stupid to keep the bullshit alive, right?

...and then the information will be compiled by Whoppa, published, sold, and then all of your personal fishing spots will be available for anyone wanting to spend the money to buy a fishing hole. FUCK THIS!!

What they said. With an extra expletive for good measure.

Just when I thought the fly fish biz couldn't get anymore stupid and childish, this comes along to establish yet a new low. Pathetic.

June 23, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterI'm shocked.

Yup, fuck any cocksucker who reports his catch unless it's Clamidyia!

I don't know what you guys are on about. I always keep a log of all the catches i make. It's just such a great way to recognize patterns. The more I fish and the more success i have the more i learn. Of cause no one is going to remember all the details of each and every catch. That's why keeping a logbook or anglers diary is so important, to learn from your own successes. And why wouldn't you want to share and learn from others. I guess I must be a cocksucker as you put it. A cocksucker who enjoys his fishing.
