Only a stupid frenchman would strip in double digit fish with a net on his head and waders around his ankles. As soon as I heard him speak it all became clear.
translation, pellet head. Question is what kind of pellets was is eating? My guess a whole bunch of oun oun oun pellets.

The guy has to take a revenge on something... the way he shouts at the end is scary indeed... "And this ??? is it nothing ??!!" as he shows the trout "tell me its nothing .,,!!" wow.. too much pressure....
I read the comments prior to watching the video, and at first thought everyone was being xenophobic ... but nah spot on!!! Dude just step out of the friggin waders!!!!

In France there are only few rivers that sustain this kind of fish. They are all in the Eastern part of the country and are srpingfeed limestone type.
All the trouts from these rivers are wild and old also nobody feed the fish. these trouts are gorging themself on scuds when they migrated early in the season. They are in public waters and these rivers are highly fished so the fishing is technical and the fish are clever.
To get a fish like this one or smaller is a real quest, because we did not fish with streamer and from a boat or pontoon. It's stalking from the river bank and only sight nymphing with a super long leader (minimum 20 feet long). Also these fish are so clever that in 95% of the time you have to fish with 5X tippet at the max otherwise you will got refusal after refusal evne on small ones.
The guy is wearing is wader like a "dork" because he jumped into the water from the riverbank to spook the fish otherwise it was going into a huge bush underwater (was 9 feet deep) and he went swimming behind it to follow it. So his waders was full of water.
Yes it's strange the way the angler is shouting at the end but it's a huge relief of pressure and he is the kind of guy who express out his stress!!! Believe me it's a huge relief when you net a fish like this even if it's only a 20' or a 25' one.
Sorry guys, it happens every 3 or 4 years that someone land a trout like this so you will not be annoyed by french guys for a while ;))

I am not convinced this gentleman is French. he is not smoking, did not immediately beat the fish to death with a baguette and at no point immediately laid down his rod and put his hands in the air when the gentleman filming him pointed the camera at him.
He is clearly 3 ft 2 in though- so perhaps he's half French?

Fuck you guys. I'd act like a circus monkey shot with a tranq dart full of meth if I landed a fish like that. I don't care if the guy is French or the CEO of BP, that fish is a toad and, after reading the story of the waders, was apparently landed after some heavy shit.
