Why Did the Carp Cross the Road?

I think the real mystery here is what is going on with that cop's hair? It's like a high-and-tight / butt-cut hybrid. It is mystifying.

Carp will pioneer; that is they will attempt to migrate to other waters during heavy rain in temporary flooding. They've been known to get trapped/stranded in doing so. Wonder if this carp did so?

I allways found those pictures where both dog and owner looked as if they belonged via
the physical appearence. This thought applies to the cop and carp.. Would you not agree?
