Charlie Bisharat's Pole Dancer
Monday, May 17, 2010 at 12:03AM
The gang at Lelands posted this video of Charlie Bisharat's new topwater fly called the pole dancer.
Born of Charlie's "love for topwater stripers", the Pole Dancer was designed to imitate the action of conventional lures like the Zara Spook and the Lunker Plunker. As experienced bass and striper anglers know, this zig-zag, 'walk-the-dog' action mimics the movement of a wounded baitfish, and is far more enticing to big-shouldered fish than any ordinary in-line retrieve.
Once you see the moves on this fly you'll want to take a stack of ones and get some action.

12 bucks a fly ??????
I've been helping test Charlies flies for a few years now. He's put allot of work into this one. They are so expensive because he had to create a mold and get all the heads made himself. I'm sure it will be worth the doe when you catch the top water fish of your life time. I haven't priced spin gear in a while but i think it's still cheaper than a zarra spook.
i would love to watch clients loose 12 dollar flies all day long. fml
You'd best be bringing a few of those to Baja next week for us...
