The Mother of all Stripers!
![Date Date](/universal/images/transparent.png)
Richie from Urban Angler in Arlinton VA sent us the heads up on this absurd striper landed somewhere in Maryland.
You can view the forum thread and another photo of the beast at noreast.com.

Holy Funk!
legit....
it's good to see that fish was released.
monster fish! this site needs more bass....
A cow of that magnitude needs to be held horizontally...those gills are not meant to support that amount of weight. Not trying to be a conservative d-bag...just trying to preserve the fishery so that I can keep catching these pigs!
is this going to be a slab of the month?
joe sak... yeah you try to hold a pig like that horizontally.. you would fall over.. plus that guy is only 5ft tall and 100 pounds sopping wet.
Should held onto it like a Tarpon! I'm sure the fish is damaged and I hope it lived!
The Simms jacket implies this was caught on fly. I would love to know what type of setup tamed this beast.
HOLY FCUK!!!! that a huge striper! i gotta catch one badly!
Once again, shut up about fish handling and releasing. There was one way to get that fish out of the water, and he did it. one that big, one in a lifetime, deserves a shot out of the water.
HELLUVA FISH!!
people need to eat more stripers. im all for C & R for 90% of what i fish for but there wont be any bait, fluke, or togs left
Note to self; don't catch a SOTM till May
slab of the century
Wow. That's a catch of a lifetime!
Too bad that fish was caught at night (illegal) and upriver just below the dam on the Susqy (illegal).
