Titanium Bite Tippet

A detailed tutorial on tying a bite tippet with single strand Titanium wire. Although the video is geared towards the muskie angler this would also be an effective system for other toothy species.

There is also some good technical information in the video description.

Good video, that is the exact same rig i use for "skis," except i perfer a 30-40lb floro (GAMMA). Along with the bite wire, american fishing wire is nice for tying, toothy critter works good if you use the tie fast, followed with a rapela knot to keep the action on your fly prime time, one thing i do add into the rapela knot, berkley, im sure there are outher brands too, but i add a 60lb clevis, one that self set (latches onto itself) cause it wont come undone and it allows me to change flys quickly and your not chomping down on your leader retying fly after fly.
