February Slab of the Month Entry - Rio Gallegos Seatrout

Say Cheese!

El Paskador sent us this shot of Loop pro staffer Diego "Pollo" Coscia on his day off. No one has ever seen a seatrout this large taken on the Rio Gallegos.

That's a beauty of a fish, and one hell of a poker face. Unless the Zanax is being passed around the Loop camp.

just because nobody will spoon feed you guys info or draw you a map doesnt mean diy cant be done, it just means its not going to get handed to you on a platter and for good reason

el paskador, i only could go off the pattern of spots...there are no obvious major marks...nothing that would really prove it...im just very curious because they look strikingly similar in proportions, head shape, coloring, etc. i didnt weigh mine, estimated over twenty for sure dont really have a guess beyond that. email me if you would like willizac@gmail.com

Hey I never knocked the fish, and a nice fish it is.. My bitch is with the lack of access in that region. Sure DIY can be done, I have been to Arg and Chile on several occasions, but I will tell you some fishing operations do keep a tight lock and key on their interest.

I could give a fuck if Pask gives me info, he would be a dumb ass to do so on the net. But I have talked to reliable sources about how Loop and a few others think they run the show down that way. Take their operation on Lago Strobel. At one point they were offering trips a few weeks before the season opens, plus they have that area completely locked as well.

This isn't a question of DIY or Public access, just post the pic as slab of the month and leave out the guides day off Loop ppropaganda BS. Not that I don't think its a great fish, but number one he is obviously a Local as Paskador pointed out and two he has access to tons more water than any of us has access to unless we pay for that access, or stick to the few non private areas.

Basically I am making a generalized observation and calling the bullshit when I see it. I

Oh and Tiger Woods can go fuck him self.. You tool bag...
