Best video I have seen on this blog for a while. I wish more film makers took his approach to talking to the audience instead of trying to be hip or philosophical.

WOW well at least use a switch rod and not a spey rod if you are going to use a bobber on a fly rod! Hmm i know it works, but was not intended to have a small piker on it!

Brown trout spot is the Owyhee River in Eastern Oregon. ;)

Please don't come to the Owyhee river though.

The owyhee is a gem. Takes heavy fishing pressure and keeps on ticking. Just don't need more DB's taking my spot. I fish it twice a week. In fact I've fished the runs in the video.
Did I mention fishbite? Enjoyed the video.

That's not Oregon and that's not the Oywhee and the browns there aren't that big at all and in good numbers. No need to come to Oregon and fish our spots. Go to California and fish there because they are all here in CO now. I'm sure you can find some stuff in N. Cal. Try Montana, or better yet Alaska, don't come to Oregon there are no fish here.

Loved it. Grew up in Washington. Watched the '74 Boldt decision practically ruin the state and have always thought of Oregon as a better bet now. Great to see a wild buck like that. Hope to make another trip to the NU this year. Thanks for sharing.
