Little Lehigh Fly Shop to close

As of Dec. 20, the shop that became synonymous with the fly fishing only stretch of the Little Lehigh Creek for the last 17 years will be closed forever.

Had a chance to visit that little shop back in 2008. There is some serious old school mojo on that stretch of river.

Sad news! The building used to be a spring house, for food storage, and they still had the creek diverted through the shop. Rod always had a sack of pellets for my sons to feed the trout that lived in the little channel.

It is sad to see it go but if you're in the area, the entire store is 50% off for the next two weeks. tons of tying stuff still left.

Fly shop is open! Former employee took over the business. The store still has live trout inside the store, fed by a spring that comes up from the ground.
