Pebble Partnership Propaganda

The Pebble Partnership is using this year's big Fraser River sockeye return as proof salmon and large open pit copper mines can co-exist.

Lies, Lies & more lies. They can't co exist. The fact there is not an open pit mine yet proves just that. But there is prove once tthe pit does open that the #'s will die or not comback at all

That bullshit ad has been running up here in AK for a while. Do they think that Alaskans are a bunch of retards?

2009 Fraser Sockeye run was predicted to be 11-13 Million and estimates say 1 million came back...

I would suggest letting the pebble partnership know what you think about the video on youtube. The comments are open.

Once again they just don't get it. Mining has done so much damage to fishing and they keep saying it isn't from mining.

This add is so full of shit I can't believe it. The mines on the Frazer are not open pit mines and are nowhere near the size of the proposed Pebble Mine. If the Canadian developers want to screw up a fishery for short term profit let them do it in Canada. And by the way what happened to the Frazer River Sockeye run last fall? Where were the millions of Salmon? Answer: they didn't come back! Gee I wonder why!

Golly Gee Whillikers Wally!
Sure is swell to know that Big Mining is so concerned about the fish! I say we hop in the Edsel and bop on down to the drive-in and have a malt to celebrate.
Come on folks, we might have swallowed that pap in the 50's, what a bunch of BS.
