Skate The Fly expands into retail land

Dylan Rose has twisted a bunch of knobs and pulled a few handles behind the curtain at Skate the Fly and transformed the site from pure blog and video into a full service on-line fly retailer.

The Skate the Fly Blog and TV are still live and well on the site but now you can peel out to shop for some of your favorite fly brands. The site also does a great job breaking down the basics for those new to the sport by offering a comprehensive 17 chapter Learn About Fly Fishing section. Topics range from what fly fishing is, to tutorials on selecting the right gear, apparel and flies.

The site is super easy to navigate and you'll see an even greater breadth of products, videos, blog posts and podcasts load up as we head into 2011.
