call me elitist, call me anal, I don't care. But I do not agree with disturbing the river bottom for such things.

If you walk in a stream, you disturb the river bottom. If you look for nymphs underneath rocks and logs, you disturb the river bottom. If you ever hook into a log and pull on it a bit to see if you can become un-snagged, you disturb the river bottom.
