May be they would have sunk the boat as well if they caught a decent-sized kingie....a lesson in how not to do it...

I was waiting for it from the first guy who looked more like he was pumping a well then fighting a fish. Either way, maybe they learned a lesson.

Weird, it broke above the cork where he was holding it.......

October 26, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterDRack

Saw that coming. These guys use a fly rod like they're pulling grouper off a wreck with an ugly stick and a penn reel.

That cork thing is called a grip.
Hold that cork thing with your hand.

October 26, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterTwo Cold Soakers

Loop should stick with making salmon rods

October 26, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterOh Canada

Swedish......says it all.

October 26, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterCj

As previously mentioned....anytime your put your hand above the cork you're asking for trouble when your fighting a fish.

October 27, 2010 | Unregistered Commenterspey

Hmmm. The Loop Army strikes again.
Well, allllrighty then.

October 27, 2010 | Unregistered CommenterSpeySpaz

What language was that? Dumbassian? I broke my Boron II-MX in two places, so I am not one to talk. But that was while trying to land a 60lb+ tarpon on the shore by myself. Those dorks need to use the cork!
