That is a great fish, and I have pulled one of my biggest fish ever from the lower Blue River.
However, that water is privately owned by the Dow Jones family and Lee Iacocca,
and the water is stocked with big fat pellet fed hatchery fish.
Elktrout Lodge has an arrangement to use that water for their guided trips.

Colorado has some unfortunate stream laws in that the landowner does own the land and the stream-bed beneath the waterways, so this water has been altered from its natural state; mainly with the stocking of big fat pigs.

Great fish, sorry to hate. Had to be truthful to the chum nation.
Please, no pics from fly fishing country clubs like Lincoln Hills or Wigwam club in Colorado.

I was gonna say, head below Green mtn to the jones property (Jurassic Park) and hit the slimeball pigs that eat pelletts there. Kinda cookie-cutter for the blue, this fish. 55 gallon drum feeders all along this stretch, so easy a caveman can do it.

that is a great fish, and I fully encourage people with boats to float the lower blue, because it is private land with tons of fish.
i bet it was a great float.
