The White was puking and vis blew. It was too sunny, too hot and 5 days too late.
Fully understanding the cardinal steelheading rule of "fish the fly long and fish it with confidence", I decided to change my fly. For the fifth time. In an hour. Needless to say, I was not in the game and my unexecuted barb pinch illustrates how un-smart things got.
Cameron Miller's lens, as usual, was in the right place at the right time.
