jesus man, where are all these giant browns coming from? Is it just me or are they much more common than in years past?

I think it is simply a result of the Chum Nation expansion. More Chum, more SOM posters. Big Great Lakes browns are always around (but don't tell anyone, we would hate for our streams to get crowded :-O)

gotta love the area below the weir! Got one nearby that was a slab entry last month, 36" and 25#.

you must have been there on a weekday, looks empty.
