A River Never Sleeps: Conservation, History and the Fly Fishing River

If you're from the D.C. area, or happen to be there this weekend, you should check out this one day symposium.
The National Sporting Library will host a public symposium on fly fishing during a full-day program, taking place Saturday, Nov. 21. “A River Never Sleeps: Conservation, History and the Fly Fishing River” will feature lectures and a panel discussion on fly fishing rivers and conservation, past and present.
Speakers include authors James Prosek, Hoagy B. Carmichael and John Ross, as well as environmental and angling historian Dr. Bryon Borgelt. Our friend and angling historian Dr. Sam Snyder will also be speaking and moderating the event.
Admission to the symposium is $75 per person or $50 per student. Advance registration is required.
