I prefer the older Popeye cartoons.... where he and Bluto would beat the crap out of each other. Olive was better looking in those to... and was Sweetpea Olive's kid??...and who was the dad? I heard Whimpy is in an extended care facility in Santa Monica close to the pier, you can catch him sometimes in the afternoon on the boardwalk. He likes to talk about the old days. They gotta be in their 80's or something like that..
