Really? The carp? The world record Brown out of Michigan didn't even make the list?

woulda helped if the MI brown was caught on a fly... kinda the point of slab of the month if i'm not mistaken...

Fly isn't always the end all criteria, however the fish does need to be submitted to us by the angler that took it. In this case, the guy that took the brown doesn't appear to be a Chum reader.

I would put the atlantic, the snook or even the brown with the big shoulders that didn't make the list above the carp. It's a nice carp, but you can browse around the internet and find pics all day of big carp. There;s tons of them in every pond canal and reseviour in the country. Just not a very unique fish. Those shoulders on that brown or a fish that swims halfway across the world to get back to your river both seem pretty unique.
