Castro: the Golden Years

Castro's first entry in his retirement journal
Today I triumphantly pursued the bonefish. Strange thing, this
"retirement." Yet I am content -- after 49 years of visionary
leadership, a man craves a little leisure. Let Raul have the headaches
while El Caballo casts. I am set to musing: How like the revolution is
the bonefish, drawing oxygen from the sea with its silvery gills, just
as we have drawn strength from despair with the ... the gills of our
defiance.
Raul isn't returning my calls.
