Ain't it just like G_Smolt to last minute our asses with this 280 lb. turd?  Regardless, it's every bit the slab.

BTW: the Neil Creek Chronicles does not condone the killing of large halibut, but the need to feed the entire Juneau community was too great to release this fish.  Also worthy of note - no flies, fly rods, or fly reels were injured in the pursuit of this S.O.M.
