Vail lands World Fly Fishing Championships in 2016

Vail has been chosen to host the 2016 World Fly Fishing Championships, when the event returns to the U.S. for the first time since 1997.

The Czechs (again) won the 2012 World Fly Fishing Championships last month.

Did you know that the 2011 World Fly Fishing Championships took place last week in Italy? No? Well neither did the rest of the civilized world.

The US Youth Team took home the gold and the US Adult Mens Team came in 5th just a few points shy of a medal position.
