Whether tranquil aerial shots of the countryside, a bridge inspection or a car chase through Los Angeles – microdronespictures films the footage with the UAS, the Unmanned Aerial System. The company located in California has used the highly sophisticated flying platforms from microdrones for more than three years.

The film team controls them from a mobile command center: a Sprinter 2500 extended.

Man Rig - Shaman 8x8 Edition

Designed and constructed by Russian custom builders Avtoros, the Shaman is a total beast. It measures 6 meters in length, standing 3 meters tall and 2.5 meters wide with a 450 millimeter ground clearance. The vehicle is powered by a 146 HP 3.0-liter turbo diesel with a 6 speed manual which delivers a top speed of 80 kph.

Even with a dry weight of 2.5 tons, the Shaman is actually buoyant and can travel through water at speeds up to 7 kph or simply float down river.

Man Rig - MVP Aero Edition

There's no prototype yet but the company says they will be flying in 18 months. MVP Aero is going to start out as a kitplane, to be built by aviation hobbyists who will in turn be able to provide feedback to future versions that will be sold ready-made.
