This scale model built by designers at the Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Studio in Carlsbad, California is designed to capture and store rainwater on the roof of the vehicle through what you're likely thinking is the roof rack. It's actually the collection point for the "hydro-tech converter" which creates hydrogen power that is eventually sent to one of the four wheel-hub motors.

This 1931 Ford 68B convertible is said to be one of two modified in 1941 for deep snow mail delivery duty in Montana. It has modified fenders, tractor tires, and a truck differential.

This 2002 Mercedes Benz G500 has been seriously modified with a stretched chassis, 4-door pick-up cab, and 38-inch Mickey Thompson tires.
The seller states that it was treated to a bare-metal respray and that the engine has a rebuilt head, along with many replaced parts. This Rover is not a complete frame off restoration but a very thorough refurbishment. The asking price is $14,500.
