The 2013 California Trout Photo Contest is now accepting submissions. Share your best photos of California’s rivers, streams and creeks and your angling experiences. Photos can include fish, anglers or others enjoying California waters or be more scenic in nature. I SHOT IT is a website that allows photographers to submit their photos in various competitions for a small fee. Entries are judged by a panel of well-known photographers and the winner recieves a cash prize and an $800 Leica V-Lux 40, the greater the number of entries, the greater the prize money. The most recent Dog Photo competition that ended yesterday closed with almost 1,000 entries and $1,200 in prize money.
One of the current running competitions is Sports so all you fly fish photogs could get in on the action.
There are also a number of other categories that would be applicable to the world of fly fishing photography.
