In a blow to dam removal advocates, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar has postponed any decision regarding the removal of the Klamath dams.
With no authorization from Congress, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar said Monday that he won't be able to meet next month's deadline for deciding whether to remove four dams on the Klamath River in Oregon and California to help salmon and set up an agreement for sharing water between fish and farms.
Salazar said in a statement that work will continue on scientific studies, as will efforts to get authorization through Congress.
