The guy who owned the wharf looked pissed...It is videos like this which make me proud...to not be an American.
I think we can all take pleasure knowing that the Silver King bitch slapped his ass at the end.
Rain's suggestion about contacting Robbie's is the best approach. I emailed my concerns and asked they be proactive. I understand that you cannot completely control everyone's stupid behavior. Hopefully they will take steps to prevent a repeat. I and friends will not frequent this business if they do not take some steps. I am sure the local Guides/Outfitters were not impressed.
Unfortunately, I now hate everyone named "Billy" that i ever have met or will meet in the future. Good job asshat.
I e-mailed Robbies and requested that they post a response on this blog to state what they are doing to make sure this type of activity does not take place in the future. Lets see if we get a response.
We apologize for this inappropriate and violent video. We do not condem this type of behavior at our facilty. We treat our tarpons as pets and apart of our Robbie's of Islamorada family. We have taken further actions on youtube to delete the user's video and block the video. We are sorry for this individual's actions and will take further action with our Robbie's of Islamorada employees to make sure we are fully aware of what happens on our dock so this may never happen again.
I e-mailed the marina. They immediately responded and said they are taking measures to make sure this type of behavior does not happen again. I invited them to post a response on the Moldy Chum.
I sent an email to Robbie's asking them to stop the feeding of wild tarpon.
How is it that Robbie's is able to feed the tarpon, is it not illegal?
It seems like a simple sign that says do not feed the fish by the FWC would work wonders.
I hope Captain DB on this video has the stones to hold the bait in his teeth next time. I'd love to see Screech capture him being dragged off the dock by his obviously empty cranium next time . What the heck is wrong with people?
