Could the future of fishing rods be triangular?

After 30 years of making prosthetic hearts and artificial blood vessels fly-fishing physicist Dr. Chris Underwood realised he could adapt the same technology to develop his D-Flex rod technology

D-Flex’ technology allows the manufacture of rods with an over-emphasised ‘spine’, meaning they are significantly stiffer bending one way than the other.

According to Underwood, the D-Flex cross section reduces stress loading, making casting control easier, more accurate and significantly more powerful, and can be used to make rods for fly fishing, spinning, waggler fishing, distance casting and even pole fishing.

WOW, Imagine if these things hit the press with some guy whaling a 140 ft. cast against the wind? All the IDIOTS that seem to frequent these blogs with their "BS" negativity would instinctively think different. It's the same guys that switched their neoprene waders for breath-ables and use flourocarbon tippet these days. GIMME A BREAK...
I NO LONGER UPLOAD VIDEOS OR EVEN PHOTOS TO THIS SITE ANYMORE BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF IDIOTS THAT SEEM TO THINK THEY ARE PART OF THE FLY-FISHING NETWORK.
I will definitely try anything new and exciting and make sure that the dumbass community on here will here about it...
